Our independent little one

She often likes to enjoy story time with a reader instead of a parent. She's growing up too quickly. What's funny is she knows some of the stories so well she reads along with the story teller.

Tonight she is reading to Minnie Mouse and Eyore.

Enjoying orange leaf after a flu shot

Kiley came with me to get a flu shot and so that we could stop at orange leaf. While she was eating her special treat she told me that she was very patient. ...and she was. Very patient. :)

When I asked her if I could have a bite she said that maybe next time I should get my own.

She's hilarious!

Kiley being Kiley

Kiley while snuggling in our bed in the morning....

Kiley: I love you, I love you, I love you!
Papa: oh kiley, that's so sweet.
Kiley: I love you blanket.
Papa: hmmm, oh.

------------

After feeling sick for a couple of nights.

Mom: Kiley is your tummy okay?
Kiley: I think so. Let me check (picking up her shirt), it actually feels a little warm.

She's so cute! :)

New Year's Eve

The big kids were at their dads on New Year's Eve, but Kiley was enjoying celebrating the new year with us at home singing and dancing and playing.

We built our annual gingerbread house but it didn't hold up very well. What's really funny is that after the fall we found that Kiley and her friend Annie enjoyed eating it up. Definitely not my first choice in sweets. :)
